Teens
Navigating the teenage years can be challenging, both for teens themselves and their parents.
Understanding the unique developmental stage that teens are in and how it impacts their interactions with others is crucial. Adolescents experience a whirlwind of emotional, social, and physical changes that can significantly affect their sense of identity and self-worth. Sometimes, this stress can become overwhelming for teens to handle alone.
At Clarity Counselling, we create a secure and empathetic environment where teens can freely express their worries and difficulties, knowing they are genuinely listened to and comprehended. We address a range of common issues, including anxiety, depression, anger management, family transitions, conflicts between teens and parents, substance abuse, peer challenges, self-esteem, and school-related stressors. In specific situations and with the teen’s consent, parents may be invited to participate in counselling. Strengthening family awareness, providing support, and offering guidance are pivotal for adolescents facing difficulties.
